Active ingredients

Ectoin®
Ectoin® is an extremolyte amino acid derivative, which is produced by the smallest and oldest organisms – the so-called extremophiles. The special feature of these extremophilic microorganisms is their excellent survival strategies in particularly extreme environmental conditions such as high or low temperatures, drought, UV radiation, extreme pressure or drastic salt concentrations. They manage to overcome such extreme conditions with the help of self-formed, so-called extremolytes, which include the extremolyte amino acid derivative Ectoin® used here.

Malus Domestica Fruit Cell Culture Extract – active ingredient extract of apple stem cells
Another outstanding highlight of the Metamorphose line is the unique and revolutionary active ingredient extract of apple stem cells from the rare Swiss apple variety “Uttwiler Spätlauber” (Malus Domestica Fruit Cell Extract). The outstanding feature of this apple variety is that it always has an incredibly smooth and firm skin, even after particularly long storage.

Squalane
Squalane (with “a”) – a clear, odorless, oily fluid – is the more stable and durable form of squalene (with “e”). Squalene is an endogenous substance and an important component of our skin sebum.

Amino acid complex
Amino acids are an absolute must for radiantly beautiful skin, regardless of skin type or age, because amino acids provide THE anti-stress protection! Accordingly, we use an amino acid complex consisting of sodium cocoyl amino acids, the amino acid precursor sarcosine, magnesium aspartate, potassium aspartate and cocoyl proline.

Ceramides
Ceramides – the basic building blocks of our skin barrier – are among the most precious raw materials in a cosmetic product due to their complex production process. However, it is not only because of their production, but also because of their excellent properties that this is an ingredient in a class of its own!

Phytosphingosine
Phytosphingosine and sphingosine are ceramide precursors and belong to the family of sphingolipids (ceramides). Ceramides (ceramides NP, phytosphingosines, ceramides 6II) are an important component of the human cell membrane.

Rosemary extract

Betaine is an amino acid derivative with a vitamin-like effect, which is obtained from sugar beet (Beta vulgaris), but is also found in other plants, animals and in the human organism.

Sodium hyaluronate – hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin – these are the three most important components of the extracellular matrix in the dermis, which together with connective tissue-specific cells form our connective tissue.

Butyrospermum Parkii Butter – Shea butter
Shea butter is a high-quality African vegetable oil obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the shea tree.

Cera Alba – beeswax
Beeswax is, as the name suggests, a wax produced by honeybees themselves, which the industrious insects use to build their hive or honeycomb.
