If you enjoy sunbathing exponentially, with or without our sun protection, i.e. in increasingly longer periods of time, several amazing natural processes are set in motion. The light callus is an underestimated, natural light protection inherent to the body and can gradually grow to twice its size through cell division with the help of UVB rays.

If you take a closer look at the processes of the skin, you realize that it has natural protective mechanisms that need to be supported. This is absolutely in line with our efforts to promote the skin organ in its unique abilities and bring it into top form.

Zinc is a natural UV protection filter that fulfills its functions immediately after application without causing toxic and hormonal damage to the skin. The mineral components absorb and reflect the sunlight so that no chemical processes are required. These chemical processes often burden the body with highly toxic, hormonally active substances and can sometimes have serious consequences. Safflower oil, avocado oil and mango butter are an ideal plus for your skin and support its regeneration and maintenance by supplying it with fatty acids and many vitamins.

Give your skin the opportunity to build up its own natural sun protection through melanin and, above all, through the light callus. Active ingredients

Zinc:
Zinc is present in all organs and tissues of our body. It prevents the formation of wrinkles as it counteracts the saccharification of the skin, which makes the tissue stiff and fragile.

Its function in keeping the skin in a stable, healthy condition has been proven in extensive scientific studies. Zinc plays an essential role in the activation of over 200 enzymes and serves as a catalyst for DNA reproduction and protein formation. It provides very effective protection against the ageing process, because without zinc, both cell division and the renewal of the horny layer cease. Elastin and collagen are the main components of our outer skin. Zinc ensures their formation and is therefore extremely important for the entire connective tissue and for tightening the skin.

It helps protect the skin from UVA and UVB radiation and can have a positive effect on wound healing. Zinc can have an antibiotic effect and can be very helpful for skin conditions such as psoriasis and vitiligo. Zinc reduces sebum production, which can inhibit pimples. The zinc we use is made from a healing stone (smithsonite) and is 100% bioavailable.

Cold-pressed organic active oils

Safflower oil:
Safflower oil (Carthamus Tinctorius Seed Oil) is widely known for protecting the skin from drying out and moisturizing it. It optimally stimulates cell renewal and may be able to provide anti-inflammatory and antibacterial support. Safflower oil differs from other vegetable oils in that it is particularly rich in linoleic acid. Linoleic acid is a component of human skin and forms the basis for the synthesis of tissue hormones. Safflower oil also contains tocopherol, which has an antioxidant effect and moisturizing properties. People who suffer from blemished and oily skin can benefit in a special way from the richness of linoleic acid in safflower oil. Linoleic acid also provides helpful services in that it can positively promote the barrier function of the top layer of skin. Safflower oil is well suited for external use on age spots, skin irritations and photodamage and promotes the removal of dead skin cells. This is the ideal way to help your skin rid itself of impurities and breathe freely again.

Avocado oil:
Avocado oil (Persea Gratissima Oil) supports the regeneration of the skin, particularly due to its high content of vitamins A, B, E and D as well as a high content of high-quality fatty acids. It also has a high phytohormone density, which has a beneficial effect on the skin’s collagen structure. Dry, cracked and chapped skin benefits above all from the oil’s ability to initiate repair processes, but irritated and inflamed skin can also be soothed thanks to the oil. Avocado oil is considered a nourishing oil and is known to prevent UV-induced skin ageing. All this helps your skin to stay moisturized and supple.

Mango butter:
Mango butter (Mangifera Indica Seed Butter) has many unsaturated fatty acids, which are important for the regeneration of your skin’s lipid barrier and can therefore help the skin to retain moisture. In addition to oil, mango butter contains vitamins A, C, D and E as well as folic acid, magnesium, potassium and iron. All of these are components that are ideal for renewing the upper layer of the skin (epidermis) and can improve collagen formation, thus providing optimal support for skin regeneration. These properties make mango butter so valuable for sun protection and also helps to moisturize, soothe and reduce inflammation of dry and cracked skin after extensive sun exposure.

Application

Apply our mineral sunscreen to your face and body without applying too much pressure or rubbing until a slightly grayish film remains. This is absorbed within a few seconds and is no longer visible. A continuous mesh has now formed over your skin, offering you protection from the moment you apply it. To avoid moving this protective grid, you should avoid applying pressure to work the sunscreen into the skin.

You can simply reapply our Mineral Sunscreen after enjoying a water bath or after heavy sweating or friction and immediately have protection in the form of an intact mesh structure on your skin again. If necessary, you can also apply the sunscreen twice directly to generate a higher density of mineral particles and therefore more protection.

Our Mineral Sunscreen is a functional product designed to protect your skin and therefore contains a high proportion of mineral platelets. These bind to oil, which is why it may be better for your skin’s well-being during application to use one of our richer facial care or body care products to keep your skin in top form.

Immediately after applying our mineral sunscreen, your skin is immediately protected without any application time.
