You can now choose between two top manufacturers, both of which grow pollutant-tested chlorella algae in closed glass tube systems with filtered water. You can get our organic chlorella from either the Austrian algae farm Jongerius or the German company Algomed. Chlorella algae is the most chlorophyll-rich plant in the world and has a protein content of between 50 and 60%. It contains all the essential amino acids and supports the immune system. It is the only plant to contain all the omega-3 fatty acids ALA, DPA and EhA. It also contains gluthation, Q10, astaxanthin, L-glutamine, B12, magnesium, iron, copper, zinc, selenium and all B vitamins.

From a biological point of view, this freshwater algae is a unicellular green algae called Chlorella vulgaris. It is about twice the size of spirulina and is also rich in protein, which contains all the essential amino acids. Chlorella is an excellent source of vitamin B12: 1g of algae contains exactly 1µg of vitamin B12. The DEG recommends 4µg of vitamin B12 per day.

It is important to protect algae from external influences such as heavy metals, toxins and pesticides. This is why these algae are produced in a closed glass system under controlled conditions. Thanks to gentle drying (<40 degrees), they are also of raw food quality. Only sunlight, Austrian drinking water, biogenic CO2 and selected, pure nutrient salts are used in their production. After drying, our products are immediately packed in airtight packaging and are not preserved by radioactive irradiation, as is common practice with other manufacturers.

What is chlorella algae anyway?

Chlorella algae are microscopically small, highly complex single-celled organisms that are among the most highly developed living organisms. Although they are invisible to the naked eye, they have remarkable adaptive abilities that have enabled them to survive for over two million years – regardless of changes in their living conditions and other adversities.

This extraordinary adaptability makes chlorella extremely interesting for scientific research and has led to it being one of the best-researched organisms. For this reason, numerous scientific studies are available that prove the diverse health effects of chlorella algae.

What is the benefit for us?

The exceptionally high chlorophyll content in chlorella plays an important role in protecting the liver. The liver is constantly exposed to various toxins, be it from food contaminated with pesticides, dental toxins, molds, pollution or other chemically toxic substances. In this context, chlorophyll has a crucial detoxifying function as it helps to eliminate these toxins and protect the liver cells from damage.

Application

Food supplement with vitamin B12, folic acid and biotin. Recommended dosage: Take 2 x 5 tablets daily with sufficient liquid. A varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important. The recommended daily intake must not be exceeded. Food supplements are no substitute for a varied and balanced diet.

People with hemochromatosis and phenylketonuria should not take chlorella due to its high iron and protein content.

Storage

Store in a dry place away from light and heat. Keep out of the reach of small children.
