What exactly is inside?

Zeolite is a microporous rock that is formed by volcanic eruptions and consists of tiny pores that are formed by the trapping of volcanic gases. The term “zeo” has its origins in Greek and means “boiling”, while “lith” stands for “stone”. In a way, you could say that these are rocks that appear to have been boiled or simmered, as they were formed millions of years ago. This happened when red-hot lava flowed into the sea and caused it to boil. During these events, the unique crystal lattice structure of clinoptilolite zeolite was formed. In simple terms, zeolite consists of silicon and aluminum atoms held together by oxygen atoms. It is important to emphasize that the aluminum in the body does not dissolve out of this crystal lattice. This structure is resistant to many external influences, including stomach acid and other digestive juices. Zeolite, a volcanic mineral, is characterized by its remarkable ability to bind suspended solids and pollutants due to its microporous structure. Through adsorption (ion exchange), it can selectively attract pollutants and at the same time release minerals trapped in the cavities.
