Greenfood vitamin K2 – high dose – 1000 μg
Healthy vessels are free of deposits, flexible and elastic.
On the other hand, “calcifications” on the innermost vessel wall, the endothelium, constrict the vessel and cause it to harden. In naturopathy, vitamin K2 is regarded as nature’s “blood vessel cleaner”, which could reduce the risk of circulatory disorders, thrombosis, heart attacks or strokes if taken over the long term.

Greenfood Vitamin K2 1000 µg
Highly dosed for your health and vascular care
Discover Greenfood vitamin K2 in high-dose form with 1000 µg per capsule. This premium product is ideal for you if you are looking for a highly concentrated vitamin K2 supplement. Vitamin K2 plays a crucial role in the body’s calcium balance and works closely with vitamin D to incorporate calcium specifically into bones and teeth. This supports the stability and health of your skeletal system.
Supports vascular health
Healthy vessels are flexible, elastic and free of deposits. These properties are crucial for optimal blood flow and general cardiovascular health. However, deposits, often referred to as “calcifications”, can harden the innermost vessel wall, the endothelium, and constrict the vessels. This can impair the flexibility of the vessels in the long term. Vitamin K2 is often referred to as a natural “vessel cleaner” which, when taken regularly, can help to keep the vessels clean and elastic by binding excess calcium in the blood and thus helping to keep it away from the vessels.
Long-term support for your health
Taking vitamin K2 regularly can have a positive long-term effect on your vascular health. It is believed that a daily dose of 180 µg vitamin K2 can help to minimize age-related changes such as stiffness of the arteries and improve the elasticity of the blood vessels. However, these effects only occur after prolonged intake, which is why patience and consistent intake are important.
Who should supplement vitamin K2?
A vitamin K2 deficiency can be caused by various factors. Medications such as antibiotics, blood thinners (vitamin K antagonists), cholesterol-lowering drugs, diabetes medication or painkillers (salicylates) can reduce the absorption of vitamin K2. People with chronic gastrointestinal diseases or tube feeders may also be at risk. People over 50 in particular should make sure they consume enough vitamin K2, as the risk of bone loss and vascular changes increases at this stage of life. A daily intake of at least 100 µg is recommended, while a higher dose of 200 µg may be advisable if you have a family history of cardiovascular disease or osteoporosis. If you are taking blood thinners such as Marcumar or warfarin, up to 45 µg of vitamin K2 can be supplemented daily without affecting the Quick value.
