Content: 1 Keimkraftbrot á 360g – Handmade Raw Food: Our sprouted oat bread – a gluten-free raw food treat for a healthy body We have developed a tasty bread that is rich in nutrients and has a pleasant taste, putting any conventional bread in the shade.
Because our Keimkraft bread does not need gluten, additives or an oven, it is processed raw, air-dried only at 40°C and thus acquires a crispy, pleasant consistency, while still remaining slightly soft on the inside.
Topped with various salads or pure vegetables or as a snack on its own, it provides our body with micronutrients from sprouts, which our intestines can optimally absorb and use. Storage advice: As the rolls are an exceptionally fresh food and it is possible that they are still slightly moist on the inside, it is highly advisable to keep the product in the fridge.
If you want to have several in stock, you should even choose the freezer.
Description
The advantages of sprouted seeds
By sprouting, grains that normally contain gluten (such as oats in our case) lose their gluten content.
This is good, because: Gluten promotes inflammation and digestive problems. Millions of us struggle with digestive problems or irritable bowel syndrome.
The problem: the typical modern diet and lifestyle kills off beneficial gut bacteria and allows harmful gut bacteria to thrive.
Once things are out of balance, all sorts of problems emerge, such as autoimmune disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic fatigue and depression.
More and more research is revealing gluten as one of the main culprits.
The protein apparently breaks down the natural intestinal barrier, allowing harmful substances to enter the bloodstream.
Around 17 percent of Germans suffer from irritable bowel syndrome, which causes all kinds of digestive problems.
Gluten exacerbates the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome and in some cases may be the underlying cause.
The breakdown of phytic acid and lectins is also a major benefit of sprouting.

Autophagy as a life-prolonging measure
The word autophagy is made up of the Greek auto (self) and phagie (to eat) and the name says it all.
When autophagy is activated, the body eats itself, so to speak.
The recycling program is an essential process that rids the body of defective cell parts.
Our cells have a limited lifespan and need to be constantly renewed.
Old cell remnants therefore circulate through our body.
If there is no external food supply, autophagy begins at some point and these cell remnants flying around are metabolized.
If we eat constantly and do not fast, these dead cell remnants remain in our body.
Depending on how many calories were eaten the day before, autophagy starts after about 16 hours.
This is why the 16:8 interval fasting trend is definitely worth a try.
The process of clearing up cellular waste really gets underway after several days of fasting.
During this careful disposal, the cell waste is broken down in the stomach and used as energy or building blocks for new cells. Autophagy is the only process that is demonstrably rejuvenating, as the cells are rebuilt from old cell remnants.
Modern medicine has now been able to scientifically prove that fasting significantly extends the healthy lifespan.
The reason for this life-prolonging process is autophagy.
The really amazing thing, however, is that the body’s own process of autophagy can also be triggered by food.
The discovery of spermidine
Spermidine is the only substance that can actively trigger the autophagy described above without abstaining from food. Apart from fasting, spermidine is the only official fountain of youth and prolongs lifespan. Studies have even shown that mice on a high-calorie and high-fat diet are less likely to suffer from obesity if they are given spermidine at the same time, and this fact is probably very helpful for some people who suffer from obesity. In addition, further animal studies have shown that spermidine prevents the development of cancer and contributes to a better course of chemotherapy. Studies on humans have also shown a reduced mortality rate from cancer and cardiovascular diseases with a spermidine-rich diet. After spermidine was successfully tested for safety in long-term studies on humans, a tendency towards improved memory performance was observed in dementia patients who had consumed more spermidine in the long term. As the name suggests, spermidine was originally found in the seminal fluid of men. Intestinal bacteria also synthesize spermidine. But the substance is not only found in seminal fluid and the intestine. Spermidine is also present in food. If the concentration is high enough, spermidine can trigger the rejuvenating recycling process of autophagy. Broccoli or soybeans contain spermidine. But to identify the most spermidine-rich foods, it is worth making a visual comparison with the original source of spermidine; human semen. Sperm cells under the microscope are confusingly similar to cereal sprouts.
Spermidine in sprouts
It is therefore not surprising that the spermidine content of wheat germ and other cereal sprouts is exorbitantly high.
Cereal sprouts, especially root sprouts, are therefore by far the food that contributes the most to cell renewal.
If sprouted grains, sprouted pulses, sprouted nuts and sprouted oilseeds form the basis of our diet, autophagy can be activated without fasting.
It is not without reason that Yoshinori Ohsumi won the Nobel Prize in 2016 for his description and discovery of autophagy.

By the way: Germination increases the number of proteins
Protein is not only necessary for building muscles.
The macronutrient is also crucial for the condition of our connective tissue, skin and bones.
Many chemical reactions in our body depend on enzymes that consist of proteins.
When fasting, the body first obtains energy from proteins.
When you sprout seeds, most of the protein breaks down into free amino acids.
Contents: Sprouted oats, sprouted sunflower seeds, ground linseed, chia seeds, psyllium husks, salt, coconut oil, maple syrup Important note: As this is a raw food bread, it is best kept in the fridge!
