Ingvi Sango Sea Coral Powder comes from the sustainable extraction of dead sea corals collected from the seabed.

Sango sea coral has a long tradition as a remedy in Japan. The coral was used for medicinal purposes more than 5,000 years ago. It was not until the 1950s that there was a real “revival”. Scientists discovered that the inhabitants of the island of Okinawa live to be well over 100 years old. At the same time, they remain agile and mentally fit for a long time. Since then, the natural substance has been known worldwide.

What is sango coral?

Sango sea coral is a stony coral. It originates from the Japanese prefecture of Okinawa in Japan, which consists of over 150 islands in the East China Sea. Okinawa is the largest of the islands and has wide beaches and coral reefs. The islands are surrounded by sandbanks with exfoliated sango coral on the seabed. Our alkaline Sango sea coral powder contains approx. 24.0 % calcium and approx. 11.5 % magnesium (ratio 2:1), in addition to 70 other minerals and trace elements in a natural, organic context. It can be absorbed very well by the body, as the minerals change into ionized form on contact with liquid, which is the smallest, unbound form. It is absorbed very quickly into the blood via the mucous membranes in the mouth. This means that bioavailability is very high.

Consumption recommendation

3 times 1/3 teaspoon (approx. 1 g) spread over the day, preferably salivate in the mouth for 1 minute and drink 1 glass of water, juice or tea or stir into smoothies, drinks or muesli etc. In case of stomach acid deficiency (common symptom: heartburn), take 1 hour after meals. By the way: 3 g powder contains 9 μg iodine.
