The holistic concept of whole food spirulina is now possible in Germany thanks to a gently processed, local, natural spirulina in direct marketing.
It is rich in important minerals such as magnesium, potassium and zinc and its phycocyanin (blue pigment) is a powerful antioxidant.
It is a high-quality vegetable protein source with all 8 essential amino acids.
The alkaline properties of the algae contribute to a balanced acid-base balance.
The high chlorophyll content plays an important role in intestinal cleansing through chelation.
Each batch is independently tested and backed by our quality guarantee to ensure you always receive pure, high quality spirulina.
The farm is powered exclusively by renewable energy.
The water is spring water from the Vogelsberg-Röhn water protection area.
The entire process can be classified as very sustainable and climate-neutral in terms of water consumption, energy and land use.
Carefully produced by hand and rich in nutrients.
What is spirulina algae?
The spiral-shaped, blue-green spirulina algae grows naturally in freshwater lakes, natural springs and saltwater lakes.
Its deep blue-green color is also what gives the water a greenish tint.
Spirulina is cultivated and harvested in reservoirs around the world. For centuries, civilizations around the world have cultivated spirulina algae and valued it for its health-promoting properties.
The Aztecs extracted the microalgae from Lake Texcoco in Mexico.
For the indigenous population in Chad (Africa), the microalgae are a staple food due to their concentrated nutritional value and rich growth in the region’s pure saltwater lakes.
Spirulina algae consists of between 55 and 70 percent protein (a higher proportion than beef, chicken or soybeans) and contains all essential and non-essential amino acids, as well as high levels of iron, beta-carotene, minerals and vitamins. It also contains vitamin B12 and phycocyanin, a pigment-protein-antioxidant complex found only in blue-green microalgae.
However, most diets lack these nutrients.
Spirulina provides people with long-lasting energy and strengthens the immune system.
The antioxidant powers of the algae help the body to function under optimal conditions.
Children and other people who are rather averse to vegetables can also be persuaded to eat “greens” in this way.
Spirulina also helps all busy people who do not have time for regular, balanced meals to eat properly.
Effect in particular
Lowers blood pressure
High blood pressure is one of the biggest risk factors when it comes to illnesses such as heart attacks and strokes.
If you keep your blood pressure under control, you reduce the risk of dying from the consequences of coronary heart disease.
The popular blue-green algae could make a decisive contribution to normalizing blood pressure.
Just over half a tablespoon of spirulina a day showed positive effects on the blood pressure of many study participants (4). The administration of 4.5 grams of spirulina over a period of six weeks led to a drop in systolic blood pressure of around 10 mm Hg.
This is a really significant result, especially when you consider the small amount of spirulina that was able to bring about this effect.
Could protect against oral cancer
Animal studies show that spirulina could be a potent aid against cancer and tumor cells.
Scientists found that the activity of the anti-tumor killer cells of mice was increased by the daily administration of the microalgae and the cells were thus better able to fight unwanted cancer cells (1).
This effect was also confirmed in humans.
Spirulina appears to inhibit cancer growth, particularly in oral cavity cancer.
In a study of Indian patients, it was observed that all those who consumed one gram of spirulina daily over a period of one year had a 38 percent higher regression rate than all those who did not consume spirulina (2). Heavy metals A study investigated the effect of spirulina extract and zinc on patients with chronic arsenic poisoning.
It turned out that the patients in the spirulina group recovered better from their heavy metal poisoning than those patients who only received a placebo.
They excreted more arsenic and also remained free of side effects of any kind(3).
Helps with allergic rhinitis
Allergic rhinitis – also known as allergic rhinitis – can be alleviated by spirulina.
The allergic reaction is usually caused by animal hair, dust and pollen.
A study involving 127 test subjects showed that allergic symptoms such as sneezing and itching, as well as runny and blocked noses, improved significantly when the subjects consumed spirulina (5) However, further studies are needed to explain the exact mechanisms behind this effect.
To summarize:
The nutrient composition of spirulina and the high bioavailability of the individual nutrients and vital substances provide the body extremely quickly and comprehensively with everything it needs to supply every body cell with sufficient oxygen and nutrients, strengthen its defenses andrid itself of excess acids, toxins and otherharmful substances.
Ultimately, regular consumption of the algae has the effect of reactivating the body’ s self-healing powers.
This also explains the wide-ranging effect of spirulina in relation to a wide variety of illnesses.
Note: We do not make any promises of healing.
Taking spirulina does not replace the need to consult a doctor or therapist.
